On Sunday, July 17, at 3 pm, at the Headquarters Library on Telfair St, we are screening the documentary The Lord is Not On Trial Here Today. The event is free and open to the public. This documentary tells the compelling personal story of the late Vashti McCollum, and how her efforts to protect her ten year-old son led to one of the most important and landmark First Amendment cases in U.S. Supreme Court history – the case that established the separation of church and state in public schools.
If you in the entrance lobby of the building, facing the glass doors leading to the circulation desk, the meeting room is down a corridor on your right hand side. The room is wheelchair-accessible.
