
On Sunday, February 21, at 3 pm, Ms. Staci Fox is delivering a free public talk entitled “Sex Education in Public Schools.” The location is the Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta at 3501 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, Georgia 30909.
Ms. Fox became President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeast in 2013, a non-profit organization providing health care, advocacy, and education to women, men, and families throughout Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Staci has been in the family planning and reproductive health field for more than 17 years, having previously served as President/CEO for Planned Parenthood of North Florida. Staci is a native of Georgia and a graduate of University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in Sociology and was involved in numerous student organizations, including as a founding member of the Arch Society, the official hosts and goodwill ambassadors of the university. She and her partner are active in their faith community at All Saints’ Episcopal Church and enjoy all the live music and amazing food Atlanta has to offer. She is a strong advocate for social justice and has volunteered her time with numerous local and national organizations.
